Days 58-60: Loony Lemmings

 Day 58

I spoke to Nicki Knack today. She's a lovely lady, I love shopping her store. I ended the day with the perfect jam session.

Day 59

I bumped into Duane Doldrum today. He said he's trying to solve a mystery. When I asked him about it, he said he's wondering where all the "Loony Lemmings" have gone. Apparently they're a cliff diving club, but they've been gone for months. He's wondering why. I asked if he wanted to join them, he said no, because you could die doing that sort of thing. He also said the lifeguard, Misty Waters, isn't letting anyone dive because of how dangerous it is. Duane says the club meets after sundown somewhere. Maybe I'll try to find them.

Day 60

Not very eventful day. I just spoke to the lifeguard and jammed out, really. 

Days 56-57: Caught in the Act!

Day 56 

I made friends with Daschel Swank and Lottie Cash today. Then I earned some cash making pizza. Then I earned some cash at a jam session. Overall, a pretty low-key day.

Day 57

I worked on collecting cans and bought a camera to try to catch Giuseppi in the act. I tried making friends with the boxer, Willie, but he's hard to get along with. I'll have to keep trying later, but I got so hungry, I needed to go get some food. Uncle Hayseed's was nearby, so I went to his house. 

You'll never believe the scene I walked into! Giuseppi Mezzoalto was in his house, stealing his stuff, my uncle was tied up in a corner, and there was a GUILLOTINE in the now empty bathroom! I took his photo and Detective Dan arrested him. My uncle was fine, but he didn't get his stuff back. 

I headed to Club Rubb to find Vera Vex and let her know of the good news. Then we jammed out to celebrate.

Days 53-55: Making Friends

Day 53 

I woke up this morning to find my refrigerator was broken. Fixing it was easy. I left after having a snack and set out to talk to people. If I wanted to be mayor, I needed friends. I found Daschel Swank at the dock and asked if he knew any sculptors. He did! He gave me his number, so I'd have to call later. I went and chatted with Olde Salty as well. Then I bumped into Phil. I continued trying to convince him to drop out of the mayoral race. I think I made good progress. 

After lots of talking, I ended the day with a jam session.

Day 54

I slept in a bit and then headed to the gym. I wanted to befriend the weight lifter, Eddie Renalin, and that's exactly what I did. We hung out all day, and then I jammed out again to earn some cash. I wanted to stick around and chat with people, but I was so tired that I went home. 

Day 55

Chatted with the doctor today in my effort to make more friends. He said he was learning all sorts of cool things as part of an exclusive Virtu-Chem club and that I could join if I paid $10k and made a significant scientific discovery. I have no idea what to do about the discovery, but he said if I butter up Daddy Bigbucks, I could get the money from him. I spent the rest of the day talking to people. Nothing super interesting happened.

Days 50-52: Conversations

Day 50 

I woke up at 5 am and went fishing. The earlier I could begin earning money, the better. When I was done fishing, O. Phil McClean was at the dock, so we chatted. My goal is to make him drop out of the mayor race. I think I made some okay progress with that. 

I ran into Olde Salty and chatted a bit with him as well. He seemed to be in good spirits. After we talked, I went and did the pizza competition for some more cash. I got a promotion when I was done!

After that, I went home for the night.

Day 51

I spent the day chatting everyone up in an effort to increase my popularity. I talked to Vera Vex. She was in a mood. Apparently her guitar got stolen, and the cops won't believe her about who did it. She says it was Giuseppi. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me. I never trusted that guy. I offered to help. She said I could get a camera and convince Detective Dan to set up a sting. That will be my plan for tomorrow.

Day 52

I spoke to detective Dan and offered to help him with a sculpting project. Then I told him about Giuseppi. He agreed to set up a sting, so now I just need to acquire a camera. And find a sculptor for this other project... I ended the day on a high note, jamming out. That's definitely my favorite of the odd jobs I do around town.

Day 49: Am I Running for Mayor?

 Moving day! I found Giuseppi at the old clock tower and got my stuff moved pretty quickly. I got moved into the Imperial Estates and felt like I was living large. This place is huge and it has a pool!

Once everything was moved, I returned the moving crate to Giuseppi and headed to the general store. They had a toilet, so I bought it. 

Walking around town, I stopped and chatted with Nora Zeal-Ott. She's still running for office. She says she wants to bring positive leadership to the Sim Valley community. She says no one is actually running against her. So I guess she'll automatically win. I decided to ask her about her campaign issues. Nothing she suggested actually seemed like big issues... She wants to make postage stamps "less gross to lick," and give everybody free shoelaces? What? I was ready to tell her how ridiculous those were but then she said something that caught my attention. Apparently there's a law with a loophole that would allow any citizen in Sim Valley to hold a mayoral election whenever they want, and she wants to overturn it. 

So I asked her, does that mean I can run for mayor right now? She said I could, but O. Phil McClean, the fisherman, is already running. He thinks the current mayor is doing a terrible job. Honestly, that seems to be what everyone here thinks. No one really seems to like the current mayor. I asked Nora why she wasn't running for mayor (she's running for assistant treasurer), she said the title isn't long enough. Weird reason, but whatever floats her boat, I guess. She did say if I wanted to run against Phil, she'd run my campaign. 

Sounds like it could be fun. I'm sure I'd be way better than the current mayor. I just need 10k simoleons and to be popular. Oh, and I'd also have to get Phil to drop out. I can do that. 

I went home for the night. Tomorrow I'll start making money and making more friends. 

Day 48: Paying Bigbucks

 Left the house as soon as I got up this morning. Then I realized I needed to find Daddy Bigbucks so I could pay him and went back inside. Somehow, in the brief moment I had left my house and re-entered, someone had robbed me. They didn't take anything important this time, just my TV. I called Bigbucks and he was, of course, at Paradise Island. 

I headed to the dock to do some fishing and kill time. Fishing was harder today, I lost like 3 fish. That was frustrating. When I finished there I headed to Uncle Hayseed's to relax for a bit. Once it got late enough, I headed to Club Rubb, and lo and behold, Daddy Bigbucks was there. I paid him, then did a jam session. Next step was to find Giuseppi to get my stuff moved! That will be a task for tomorrow.

Days 46 & 47: Money and Promotions

Day 46 

I got up and headed to the pizza place at the docks for some cash. Got me just a little closer to that $10k I need. Next stop was the gym. There was a mirror there, so I could not work out, but practice my charisma. This was my way to a jam session promotion, I was certain of it. I didn't get that promotion today, so I'd have to keep trying. Maybe tomorrow I'll practice my guitar skills.

Day 47

I practiced my guitar for a bit, and when I felt like I wasn't getting anything from that, I headed to the library to study up on the instrument. I felt like I was getting somewhere with that. The library doesn't have anywhere to sit, so my legs were tired after that. I went and sat outside the hospital until I could go to VirtuChem to sell all the cans and stuff I've picked over the last several weeks.By the time I was done there, I was only 5 simeloens short for the 10k. I went to Club Rubb to earn that last bit of cash. Wouldn't you know it, I got promoted too! Tomorrow I'll have to find Daddy Bigbucks to pay him.

Day 45: The Sim Valley Champion

 I woke up bright and early and headed down to the dock for some fishing. I  was hoping once I was done, I'd spot the Veloci-Rooster. I was right! He was there! I chased him down and picked him up! Now to find Daddy Bigbucks and inform him of all my accomplishments. Unfortunately, when I called him to meet up, he said he would be at Paradise Island for awhile. So I went to do some Pizza Pandemonium to kill time.

I went home to rest for a bit then headed back out and to Club Rubb. Daddy Bigbucks was there as I hoped he would be. He was very pleased and gave me 1000 simoleons for my efforts. I then spoke to him about moving into a bigger house. He said he could make it happen, but I'd need 8 friends, good job standing, and 10000 simoleons. I already have 8 friends, and I was halfway to 10000 simoleons. I just needed to get promoted in either the pizza competition or jamming out. 

On that note, I decided to end the night with a jam session. Didn't get promoted, though. 

Days 41-44: Getting Swol

 Day 41

Training time! I headed straight for the gym to start working out. I exhausted myself and headed home. On my way, I stopped by Cheatum and Howe. They had a bed in stock! So no more sleeping on my couch or gazing into the crystal ball for energy! Now I just need to buy a toilet... After some rest, I headed back to the gym and hit the punching bag for a while. 

Day 42

Back to the gym! Spent the day there and then called it an early night.

Day 43

I felt like today would be the last day I really needed to be at the gym. Then I could set my sights on defeating Mad Willie Hurtzya, the bull riding competition, and the veloci-rooster. I was wrong about it being my last day. I'd need one more day at the gym, or part of a day. 

Day 44

I went to the gym, worked out some more, then approached the boxer. He immediately knocked me out. I rested up a bit and went back to the boxing ring. I knocked Willie out real good! Next is the bull riding record. So I headed to Country Cafe, where they had bull riding, and I beat that record! Now to figure out how to get the Veloci-Rooster...

That would have to be a task for tomorrow. I decided to reward myself for a productive day by jamming out at Club Rubb.

Days 39 & 40: Finally Finding Daddy Bigbucks

 Day 39

It was an uneventful day. I made some pizza, and jammed out. Got a promotion with the band!

Day 40

I almost found Daddy Bigbucks. I called him up, he said he was at the park, but by the time I got there he was gone. I called him again, and no answer. I headed over to my uncle's to earn some mowing money. I finally found Bigbucks outside VirtuChem. We talked about the triathlon. He wants to do chicken wrangling, bull riding, and boxing. He says the mayor won't help because he doesn't think it sounds exciting, but I think those things sound plenty exciting. So naturally, I offered to help. This means I need to do all of those activities and report back to Daddy Bigbucks.

So what exactly will I be doing? Beating the bull riding record, knocking out the boxer, and catching that Veloci Rooster. 

So it was to the gym to buff up! This is likely how I'll spend the next few days. Preparing for the triathlon.

Days 37 & 38: Art and Pizza

Day 37 

I was out so late last night that I slept until 3pm. I called Daddy Bigbucks, and he was still at Paradise Island. My goal then became going through the maze outside of town to Lover's Leap to paint a beautiful picture to sell to Daschel Swank. I had a great time painting. I was out all night. I forgot to eat and passed out. I woke up in the hospital at 5am.

Day 38

I went home and took a shower and ate something before heading to the dock for some fishing. I found Daschel and offered him my art. He asked how much I thought it was worth. I said 400 simoleons, and he gave me 5000! What a deal! I hope with this, the mayor sees how foolish it would be to not open an art gallery. Now I had enough for the cooking show entry fee. I found Lottie Cash and gave her the money. I ran to the docks as fast as I could, because that's where the pizza diner was, so I could compete before the day ended.

Day 36: I'm Officially a Band Member

 I woke up pretty late. Called Dady Bigbucks. He was on Paradise Island. I have no idea where that is or how to get there, so I guess I'd just have to wait. To kill time I mowed Uncle Hayseed's grass for some cash.

Wandering around town I ran into Daschell Swank. I asked him if he'd seen sny good exhibitions lately. He said he's been trying to convince the mayor to open an art gallery for years because he thinks so many Sim Valley locals are full of talent. I told him I'd help him out by painting Lover's Leap. It's this lovely place just outside of town.

After our chat, I went to Club Rubb in the hopes to find Daddy Bigbucks there. He wasn't, but Vera Vex was. So we talked. I let her know I did everything she asked, and now I'm in a band! We meet at Club Rubb! So naturally, I had to immediately do a jam session since I was already there. The first session went really well, and I got promoted! 

I was unable to complete my initial goal of talking to Daddy Bigbucks, but I'd still say it was a successful day. 

Days 33-35: Finding a Place to Jam

Day 33

While running home from jail, I passed out from hunger and woke up in the hospital. Since my fridge was still broken, I went to my uncle's for a bite to eat, then mowed his grass.

I stopped by the general store to see that they finally had a toilet in stock. 

Then I headed to the gym and practiced speaking in the mirror. Charisma would be an important skill if I was going to be in a band.

I finished up the day by doing some smoothie sliding and headed home.

Day 34

I spoke to Vera Vex a bit this morning. Then I asked around about places to jam. No luck yet. Decided to do the bodybuilder competition and got a promotion! I decided to check out Club Rubb, the club I got to reopen. I saw Daddy Bigbucks there. I thought maybe he could tell me where to jam. Before I could really talk to him about it, though, I was overcome with tiredness and needed to go home. I'll have to talk to him tomorrow.

Day 35

I spent the day doing some self-care. I realized I don't do that enough. Then I ran into Uncle Hayseed. I decided to see if he had any ideas on where a band could jam, and surprisingly, he did! I still wanted to find Daddy Bigbucks, he had mentioned something about a triathlon before I had to leave last night, so I wanted more information on that. Before finding Bigbucks, I went to the Burning Spoke to do some work. I ran into Vera Vex while heading home. We chatted for a bit, and I decided I'd have to talk to Daddy Bigbucks tomorrow. I entered my home to find I'd been robbed again! They stole my toilet again!
